What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site under an instructor account. When registering on our site, as appropriate, you will be asked to enter your name and e-mail address, as well as information about the level(s) of learners you serve, the settings in which you teach, and the number of learners you serve.

Analytics and Tracking

The website uses Google Analytics (GA) to better understand how visitors use our site. GA is the only external service used on this site, and no personally identifiable information is shared with Google (or any external entity). No user data is passed through URLs, and IP addresses are anonymized and obfuscated prior to transmission. Users may revoke the use of GA cookies at any time.

Additionally, this website collects data to understand the range of ways instructors and learners use this site. This includes the number of learning plans being generated and accessed (SkillBlox access codes), which skills/standard(s) are being accessed most frequently, and which resources are being used most frequently. 

Given this website aggregates learning resources from third-party partners and their respective websites, on occasion we do share usage statistics with these partners related to specific retrieval and use of their resources within the website. 

The collection of data outlined above allows us to refine our content offerings, optimize our site design, and provide a count of the number of individuals served by our website. In all of the above cases, no personally identifiable information is collected about you.

How do we protect your information?

The details of any user-created accounts will not be shared with any third party, and only includes minimal personally identifiable information (name and email). We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information. We reserve the right to deactivate a user's account for violating the terms of this website or for any reason we deem appropriate. 

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. We reserve the right to release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
